This early production Tiger is powered by the original 260 V8 and backed up by the 4-Speed Top Loader manual transmission and a Dana 44 Rear.

This is the all original 28,000 mile unrestored 1965 Sunbeam Tiger, aka the Baby Cobra.
The Tiger program was developed by Carol Shelby and Ken Miles.
A Sunbeam Alpine was sent to Shelby's shop in Venice, California, so he could build a prototype Tiger.
Ken Miles also built one.
After thoroughly testing both vehicles, Rootes Group sent Shelby's Tiger to England for further development by Rootes.
Their calibration transferred a European sports car into a powerful performance car.
This particular Tiger is one the finest original and preserved Tigers available today.
The car has virtually no wear and is all original.
This numbers matching Tiger is powered by the original 260 V8 and 4 Speed top loader transmission.
The car shows its original yellow stripe vacuum hose, and herringbone heater hoses, neither of which are available as reproductions.
JAL tag, cowl tag rivets, and valve cover sticker are all undisturbed.
The car retains its original Top loader transmission (HEH-E tagged), date coded bellhousing, date coded Dana 44 rear, date coded 2V carburetor etc.
It has the Tiger specific fuel pump access door.
This one of kind Tiger is still wearing most of its original Carnival Red paint with a deep shine and and excellent paint quality.
The car is also wearing all of the original chrome, weather-strip, seat upholstery, etc and it all looks great with no dry rot or cracks.
This special Tiger features a set of rare original LAT 9 wheels, mounted on original Uniroyal Tiger Paw bias-ply redline tires that were put on the car in 1968 since the original owner had to have Tiger Paws on her Tiger.
It also comes with a new full set of modern Mini-lite style wheels and tires for driving.
The glass including the windshield is beautiful original Triplex, date coded from 1964.
Additional features include an optional hardtop, a Black folding soft top, and a tonneau cover.
The hardtop is also in like new condition.
The soft top has been replaced and is an excellent shape.
This Tiger has the complete owners history and only has had three owners from new.
The original owner held ownership until 1983.
She lovingly cared for this Tiger.
The second owner was a well known Shelby collector, Wayne Curry.
Wayne found and bought this car from the original owner in 1983, when it had 24,000 original miles.
Cosmetically, the unrestored original condition is so good that the car appears to be restored.
Under close inspection, you will realize that this is not a restoration but the original condition of the vehicle.
This is a true time capsule and a very special car for a very special collector.
