Powered by the correct 289 Supercharged v8 engine, this was a muscle car ahead of its time! Production was a total of 4,356 built, and not many remain today.
The Golden Hawk had many features such as fully integrated gauges, engine turned aluminum dash, tachometer, full instrumentation, 289 V8, Factory Mcculloch Supercharger.
Our car is very unique in that it has a 4 Speed manual transmission.
The car also has been fitted with Vintage Air Conditioning.
The Golden Hawks were able to sprint from zero-to-sixty mph in just 7.
8 seconds, with a top speed of 125 mph.
That was very fast for cars of this 1950's.
These factory built hot rods were ahead of there class.
The Raymond Loewy designed Golden Hawk had unmistakable European and Italian influence apparent in the Mercedes-like front end and the 1950s rear fins.
They were built as a luxury performance sports coupe and for 1957 were the most expensive model in the lineup.
Our Golden Hawk has been restored by the previous owner.
The car has been painted in the correct Gold.
The chrome has been chrome plated.
The car has new dual exhaust system.
The car rides on WWW radial tires with original hubcaps.
