Associate Veterinarian Wanted For Rapidly Growing 5 Doctor Mixed Animal Practice

Associate veterinarian wanted for a rapidly growing 5 doctor mixed animal practice.
The practice is located in eastern NC.
30 minutes east of Raleigh NC.
An hour from the beaches in Wilmington.
The practice consists of 50% small animal and 50% large animal.
The majority of large animal is equine focused with dominant western sport horse and leisure trail riding.
The remaining large animal consists of cows, goats and a few pigs.
The small animal is rapidly growing with focus on preventative medicine and general wellness.
Routine surgeries performed in house.
Laparoscopic/Orthopedic surgery capability available in the recent 2000 square foot small animal expansion.

An equine surgery center with gas anesthesia allows for routine surgeries.
Approximately 60 mares a year are bred with cooled or frozen semen.
Associate veterinarian would spend 2 weeks in small animal, with a 4 day work week, then 2 weeks large animal with a 5 day work week.
Associate veterinarian would share large animal emergencies on a once every 4 week rotation.
Compensation for CE, health insurance and paid time off.
Mixed animal practice.
Time spent evenly between large and small animal appointments.
Emergency call for large animal once every 4 weeks.
Candidate must have a current veterinary license to practice medicine.
